Jim is a Principal and Managing Director in the Fort Myers office of Colliers Arnold. He has over thirty years of experience as a business development professional which allows for a unique perspective in understanding the needs and goals of businesses as they relate to commercial real estate. Jim’s primary focus is his relationship with his clients. He is involved in every aspect of a transaction from start to finish. Through a hands-on approach, Jim provides unmatched service and strategy for his clients.

While Jim is qualified in all aspects of commercial real estate, he is particularly knowledgeable in the area of investment properties, specializing in multi-tenant investment and land sales. His experience specializing in investment properties provides the insight into the market his clients need to make informed decisions. In addition to Jim’s experience, his clients receive the benefit of three of the best networks in the world. Professional Accomplishments

Jim and his team have successfully completed over $200 million in transactions.  In 2007 and 2008, Jim was awarded Colliers Arnold’s Top 10 Producer. In 2007 Jim was awarded the Largest Retail User Sale and Largest Office Lease. In 2006, he received the Colliers Arnold award for Largest Industrial Land Sale.

Having achieved his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations, Jim is part of a small, elite group of professionals to have earned both of the top commercial real estate designations. Jim has served in leadership positions in many local organizations including board member of the Horizon Council and President (2006), Vice President (2005), Treasurer (2004), and Sponsorship Chairman (2003) of the Southwest Florida CCIM District. He has also been a speaker at several local conferences and events on various real estate topics, including the annual Southwest Florida CCIM Outlook Conference.

Education

Jim has a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics/ Business Administration from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. He has also completed the necessary education courses and industry experience requirements for achieving the CCIM and SIOR designations.
